Why all this atrocities, you ask?
The main reason is to drive more traffics to their respective schools hence, making more profits.
Its only in private schools a parent would walk in and accuse the schools, how come my child fails? Didn't I pay school fees?
Because they know that all what they're after is money not standard.
Prove me wrong that's if I'm wrong there's no standard in any private schools in Nigeria. Except for some few ones and catholic schools that still maintain the standard of old.
The only cure that Nigeria education need is to withdraw total franchise from private individuals from owing a school. By this, all the private schools will be under Government control such that both public and private schools will operate under same rules.
If possible individual must be restrained from owing a school. But only private agencies must be granted that opportunity to establish school. With the warning, should they misbehave the school will be closed down.
Also no private school must be accredited to conduct any external exams, Government should establish general accredited centres for all, and both the private and the public school students write their external exams there. This will a long way curb the art of malpractices in schools.
Government should increase teachers salary because some out of annoyance resign to establish school.
Moreover, the question is still blessing or a curse?
I will conclude with my brother answer to the question: a blessing to the school owners but a curse to our education system.
Till we meet again, I remain my humble self AKERELE odunayo Samuel.
Remember keep being you and keep being good.
