MY MESS!

MY MESS!
Yesterday afternoon I was terribly famished. And in the quest to quench my hunger, I motioned to the kitchen to prepare noodles and egg.
It was almost half done when I reached my hand thither into the kitchen table to get egg but unfortunately I accidentally broke six eggs.

Nobody was home and I didn't want anyone to know what had transpired when they come back. I cleared the mess but not yet totally wiped until I replace the broken ones.
Hence I rushed out of the house bought another six eggs to replace the one I broke.
Then, I confidently ate my noodles thinking no one would have a glimpse of what had happened.

But when people began to come back from work they could perceive odor of egg, and I was asked did you break egg?
Since I didn't want to lie I said yes. What I actually thought had perfectly covered up later show case itself.

Then, I questioned myself why didn't I use deodorant to neutralize the smell of the egg?
However, I wasn’t scold for breaking the eggs.
Then, it occurred to me that so many a time when we sin or err, we usually find a way of covering up for our sin because we often think God is mad at us. And some other time we want to help ourselves, and this we do by separating ourselves from HIM.

But God isn't mad at us because of our error. He's a loving father. Rather than running away from him when we err we should rather run to him for help.
Our help is in God who is in us. Suffice to say that our help is in us. But we tend to separate from him in our minds each time we sin.

Stop struggling, when you make mistake look unto the cross the more you look the better you become. But running away from God will only make you commit that same mistake over and over again. I see running away from God whenever we sin as “confidence in the flesh” which cannot help us, but rather enslave and make us feel guilty. We tend to commit the same mistake again while condemning ourselves.

Stop condemning yourself, if God has not condemned you then, why should you?
If truly you're born again, sin is not your problem because your sins are forgiven past, present and future. Don't be too sin conscious because sin has been dealt with once and for all.
God is not imputing your sin to you. Our father is not keeping record of sin.

Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Heb 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Permit me to hang my pen here, I remain my humble self AKERELE OdunayoSam.
Remember keep being you and keep being true.

IT MATTER

IT MATTER! The topic to be discussed today is ‘it matter’, but the question is, what matters? Join me as we look into this deeply.  When I was in secondary school my Agricultural science teacher taught us then GERMINATION and the factor responsible for growth. Some of the factors are: viable seeds, moisture or water, nutrient (soil) and air (oxygen) When I meditatively considered these factors I realized that not even one out of them is un-important. If any of them isn’t available then the seed growth or germination is in jeopardy. Applying this into our lives’ journey as humans, it is evident that some factors also responsible for our own growth in every endeavors of life. Some take this serious while some others don’t.  When I say growth I do not mean increase in the number of age. Neither do I mean increase in stature. We grow in business, career, and ministry and so on. For us to grow in life we need to take these factors seriously. For instance the viabil...

I PROPOSED A DECEIT

I was born when the time was still partially measured by the throaty crow of the cocks. When if cock refuses to crow, the time was measured by the height of shadow.  I can still very much remember how my father would say the time is three o'clock in the afternoon because the shadow had reached a certain height on the wall in our backyard. Sometimes I was wowed at the level of his intelligence.  He didn't mark that particular spot on the wall and he never for once missed it. I tried doing but kept on missing it. Then, I used charcoal to Mark it. Isn't beautiful to say I also measured time by the height of shadow? Winks.  My father was a farmer and partially a hunter. He was very diligent and good at what he does. He had cocoa, cola nut, plantain, yam, maize, cowpea, and rice farms. He was rich in goats, and different kinds of fowls. Apart from the fact that he uses labor we the children were also part of the labors employ on his farm.  We worked all ye...
