IS YOUR MIND NORMAL?

Projection of mind If its state is not normal Might not be that kind And see no farther than the Astronomer Mind projection When not at its best state Often lead in a wrong direction Hence one falls for a bait Polluted mind Worse than the blind All it sees is a mirage Of the original image. ©Odunayosam

'RUNNING MY RACE

Odunayo blog Leave me Let me be I will do What I ought to do The time I ought to do it Leave me Let me be Though I'm still here I'll definitely get there No rushing My only song to sing Is that I'm working With God's time God's time To man may be a slow time But still remain the best time My environment says, It's getting late But sure I know Everything is beautiful in his time Leave me Let me be I'm running my race Soon you all will be amazed **  ** FOOTNOTE The moment you realize that life's race is an individual race you stop mounting pressure on yourself. This pressure comes as a result of competition. When you start using other people's success to measure your own success, the pressure of the unknown set in.  Run your own race. And run with God set time; which to some is a very slow time.  In conclusion, you will only be what you are meant ...

YOU TOO CAN BE BIASED

'My mother is the best mum in the world.' Are you conversant with this saying? I'm sure you do. I once disprove it, and you hear them saying I'm not talking about everybody but to me, my mother is the best in the whole world. This statement is biased. You see that point you pass judgment concerning a matter from your own point of view, you are biased.  Like I said earlier the writers of the best mum in the world write based on who they think is the best mum in the world. Even though, she might not be the best. But as far as they are concerned she is the best. This is a biased judgment. Photo credit to Pixabay. Am I trying to point an accusing finger at people for being biased? No, but I'm directing my article to those who believe that they are not biased.  People cook up stories just to favor their course because of their interest. They will go to any length to prove this, not because of anything but their interest. If there is anything humans...

THE MYTH OF AN AFRICA AKEE: NUTRITIOUS BUT POISONOUS

Dear friends You have mountains to climb  You have missions to accomplish Shining brighter is your bulb Don't give your strength to that which perish Never fall for alluring hips You have land and nation to conquer Waste not your time conquering hips As a result, many lives have been shattered Your friends might have told you it's love Maybe not the one from above What you desire is that which you have seen The contour, the butt, curves, and the breasts  Love that robs you of value Hear this my humble truth This is lust after her many assets I can see that big butts, breasts et al are all set Before you climb this mountain Why not ask if the time is riped Because it's like an African akee Nutritious but poisonous if it's not *Footnote  The right timing is very important whatever we are doing. Before you take any action be patient enough  ask yourself if the timing is right or not. ©OdunayoSam.

HAVE YOU SEEN MY WORST?

As gentle as a dove  Kind as a man so kind  With your right attitude you blind My perception of men You care so much for me  You were there when I was lonely  Your giving mentality change mine  You give like you are the richest in the world Yet, you are not the richest in your family  Your humble nature humbles the arrogant me  You retaliate my wrongs with love  Friends deserted you because of me  No guy has ever treated me the way you do  Sometimes I wonder if you are from this planet  Because you are just a perfect definition  of perfection  You are a rare gem  That's rare to come by: These are the ways you describe me But if things turn out and time change  If I show you the human side of me,  If you know the worst of me  Will you still love me?  Have you seen my worst?  If my worst is known to you  Will the adjectives still t...

NATURE NURTURES

Nothing nurtures our souls like nature does. The cool breeze blowing to our heads after the scorching sunlight of the day, the green grasses that beautiful our fields, the breathtaking panorama on top of mountains,  the chirping birds that never cease to entertain us morning, noon and night, the forest trees that make use of carbon dioxide and release oxygen for us to breathe, the thousands of animals upon the thousand hills, the landscapes. All are beautiful works of the creator. The beauty of seas and oceans that never fade  The juicy taste of fruits is the creator making The medicinal herbs in our gardens The cooling effect of rains All are the wonders of the creator. Nature nurture And refine itself somehow But man intervention  Has a way of interrupting the course of nature And brings upon himself flooding, Diseases, excessive heat;  All are the results of man's intervention.  All are beautiful, the wonderful work of the creator...

LET LOVE LEAD

LET LOVE LEAD It is purity. And it's the secret of the trinity, that upholds unity among many entities. Love is all I bargain, 'Cause it has lots of gains. It's the cure to all our pain. And panacea to our tribal disdain No power is above the one from above. Labyrinthine riddles it solves. And clears every doubting cough. No one love with no love. Either Fileo, Ero, or Agape love. Love isn't of a multiplicity of words, But manifest in action and deeds. All I plead Is to let love lead In all our bid. For this ought to be our creed #Letlovelead Let me hang my pen here. Till we meet again, keep being real, and keep being good. I am Odunayo Samuel.
