SIX THINGS TO DO DURING THIS CORONA BREAK

COVID-19 pandemic is no longer news, it is real. And the only thing we can do this time is to help ourselves by taking all the precautionary measures. The rate at which this agent is spreading is alarming. More than three hundred thousand cases have been recorded across the globe.  Thousands of lives have lost and many are in quarantine centers. This is not the time to give room to unnecessary fear because it is not going to work. It can only lead to hypertension.  COVID-19   The physicians and all other health officials have implored us; to stay safe, stay home, maintain social distancing, if at all you are going out use your personal protective equipment (PPE).   Like I said in my last blog post, this outbreak has affected so many things, stores, schools, hotels, churches, markets place have all shut down till further notice. Even the commercial sex workers are clamoring due to the scarcity of clients.  This, of course, is of economic implication. In some count

COVID-19: IMPLICATION

The world stands still. Things are turning upside down; the people therein stand in awe of a virulent agent. This one is not biased in its dealings. The sound of corona brings fear to the rich and poor alike. It’s not a thing of either developing or under-developed countries alone. Even developed countries are equally affected.  It’s spreading like a wildfire: From Asia to Europe, North America, South America down to Africa countries.  Some are learning hygiene the hard way, not until now I believe the world can be so troubled, corona war is a global war, this isn’t for poor African countries alone. We shall fight this war and shall conquer. Fear of food scarcity looms, as hunger is also a weapon of war, no matter the strategy it uses, we shall conquer Late December 2019, there was an outbreak of a virus called Corona in Wuhan, China. This virus spread rapidly within China but today cases have been recorded across Europe’s, Africa, America and s

DARE TO KNOW THE DEVIL THAT I KNOW? III

What else do you call a man that live in luxury at the expense Of the ones meant to serve? What other name do you call a man that loots the masses? What other tag do you give a lecturer that sexually harasses his or her student? How do you describe a boss that denies a subordinate promotion because of unauthorized sex? What else do you call them that kill for their own belief? Don't you agree with me that a monster is one that rapes? Is s/he not a monster that backbite  his or her neighbor Or perhaps seek the downfall of their fellow humans? Is s/he not a devil that trades his or her friend's life for money? Devil is not living anywhere but among men Devil is not a figure we've been made to believe The real devil is in or among men Self is the only devil in the world today By default all men are selfish We all do things that suite our selfish desire Government loot to acquire wealth Lecturers harass students to quench their libido The extent to which w

DARE TO KNOW THE DEVIL THAT I KNOW II

But the truth is devil appear not as such If he appears the way you know, I'm cocksure you will keep your space I need no prophet to know you won't marry him or her But the truth is, s/he appears as other handsome Or beautiful men and ladies If the devil is like a monster as we were made to  know Then we need nobody's warning to stay away from him But he's also tall, dark and handsome. He's also short, light and cute. She's also full of contours and adorns with figures He also gets a nice smile and a nice breath If the devil is what you believe him to be I know you will not transact business with him If the devil is what you know her to be I'm sure you won't think of sleeping with her If a witch appear as one I'm sure you will not be their friend But devil appear not the way you conceive him in your mind We were made to know that he exists in a particular place A scary and dark far place: The devil is nowhere but in and aro

DARE TO KNOW THE DEVIL I KNOW?

Poison is not always bitter. So watch for the sweet and tush ones  Nollywood portrayal of the devil  Has given that mentality that he's ugly  And has a scary appearance  But the truth is that the devil is not what he's called   His image is cute, handsome and suits the eye   The very opposite of what we've been made to believe  He appears as a light and not darkness  He appears as a friend and not foes He disguises as a helper and not a heckler  Imagine he appears as we know him to be Then none would fall for his trick  Imagine the show up like that black creature Then all and sundry would have kept their spaces  But the truth is when the devil appears,  he does under the guise of an innocent soul  Imagine all witches fly during the day  Wouldn't you have control your tongues when you near one  But they do not, that beautiful damsel you so admire  Might just be one, but you know not.  Why wait till you see the true im
