NOW OR NEVER?   


The word ‘NOW’ is in present form. It means now or present time or moment.
Now is now, it’s neither past nor future. It’s never yesterday or tomorrow. It’s always today and it’s now. It’s neither two hours nor minutes ago- it’s now.
Before I proceed I’ll like to start by reading some texts which will put into context what I’m going to say today.

Ecclesiastes11:4 He that observes the wind shall not sow; and he that regarded the clouds shall not reap.

2corinthians6:2 for he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Often times I’ve seen people waiting for the right time to take a specific action or rather to step out for something significant. I’ve discovered, however, that these folks had waited for so long and are still waiting. I’d also fallen victim at a time in my life. During my undergraduate year I had flair for guitar. Then, my thought was to learn how to play it probably when I have much time. 

Two hundred level, three hundred level past even till I graduated, I never had much time to learn how to play guitar.
Why? I was waiting for the right time, the time that I would be less busy. But that kind of right time never come. Many are like that, it’s either they are waiting for the right time or probably till they get all the resources before they will start doing something.
How long they’ve been waiting only God knows.

The scriptural reference we consider in Ecclesiastes 11:4 stated clearly that if we consider weather we will not do anything.
Live your best life NOW
Sing your best song NOW
There’s no better time to start than NOW.

If there’s anything that helps me to understand mathematics, I think it would be the quote I came across in Merriam Webster dictionary in my secondary school days. It says;

“Never leave till tomorrow what you supposed to do today. Because leaving it till the next day makes it to be more difficult.” Since I came across the quote I never leave any problem unsolved in mathematics. If you don’t do what you are supposed to do today it will be a problem tomorrow.

What I’m saying in essence, you’ve postponed enough, procrastinated enough, start doing something NOW.
Are you waiting for the perfect time to step out for your dream, there won’t be any perfect time. And so you have to start taking action now. It’ll be a misplaced priority for you to be waiting till the time you are more mature before you take a step. Mothers and sisters you are not too young. I bet if you are still waiting, you can find yourself in the other world without achieving anything here.

 Usain Bolt said, as a child I dreamed. But I stopped dreaming and started doing. Because it’s the power of doing that makes dreams happen.
Perhaps you are waiting for the approval of men before you take action. I bet to disagree with you because you won’t get any approval until they see your lime light.
You’ve waited so long, you have to start doing something NOW.
You’ve dreamed so long, you need to start doing something to make your dream real. Else it remain a dream.

Let me end with this Chinese proverb:

The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago, the second best time to plant is now.

YOU TOO CAN BE BIASED

'My mother is the best mum in the world.' Are you conversant with this saying? I'm sure you do. I once disprove it, and you hear them saying I'm not talking about everybody but to me, my mother is the best in the whole world. This statement is biased. You see that point you pass judgment concerning a matter from your own point of view, you are biased.  Like I said earlier the writers of the best mum in the world write based on who they think is the best mum in the world. MY GHETTO CRUSH

Beauty, I think is very hard to come by. Sometimes I did say beauty is peculiar to a particular tribe, location, and or area. It never occurs to me that it can be found in any other place aside from those special places. I had determined whenever I want to get married my eyes would be on those choice locations where beauty resides. Where does beauty reside? I had asked myself this question and my answer has always been beauty has a special location.  This I believe until I met this lady whose beauty is not of this planet. This is not an exaggeration but my way of telling the wonderful work of creation I met in the ghetto.
